Tom Brady is set to start his season off with a massive audience. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback will call his first game in Cleveland—if he doesn’t return to the playing field.
As previously discussed on GH, Brady said he would be willing to sign with a team for the 2024 season:
Per a viral clip of Brady on the Deep Cut Podcast, Brady said he would be open to signing with a team in the upcoming season if it didn’t affect his potential ownership stake in the Raiders. Brady specifically mentioned the Raiders and Patriots as teams he’d be interested in joining if they needed quarterback help.
Of course, one major reason Brady might stay retired is due to his broadcasting contract. Brady signed a 10-year deal worth $375 to call NFL games on Fox. If he were under center, one wouldn’t assume Brady would fetch $37.5 million for the upcoming season.
However, Brady will be front and center on Dallas Cowboys fans’ TV screens in Week 1. Per an X post by Fox Sports, Michael Strahan announced Brady will debut as a broadcaster for the Cowboys’ and Cleveland Browns’ Week 1 matchup.
LFG!

The Browns will host the Cowboys for the late afternoon game (4:25 EST) on Sept. 8. Fox and the NFL are making sure to give Brady a broad audience for his first broadcast.
If he’s still retired from playing quarterback.
Time for another Cowboy's loss to open the year, lmao.
